Welcome to our upcoming live music events at The Carrier’s Inn. We aim to book the best of local artists, covering a wide range of genres, all in a relaxed, acoustic style. Our gigs are always free entry, so grab a drink or a delicious homemade meal beforehand and enjoy the show.
Friday 25th October 2019, 8:30pm – Jenny Colquitt
Back by popular demand! A must-see local singer / songwriter. She will be accompanied by her partner Si on bass, covering songs from a variety of genres and decades, with a few originals thrown in. Jenny has headlined at The Brindley Theatre, Runcorn, and this duo is a must-see act.
Jenny and Si are performing live at our Halloween party where there’ll be live music, homemade toffee apples, spooky cocktails and mocktails, and Halloween desserts!
Saturday 2nd November 2019, 9pm – Hoppinfrogs
This fantastic local duo, made up of Laurence O’Toole and Colin Lambert specialise in Americana, Blues and Irish music. With a combination of two guitars and two vocals, they’re sure to make an impression.
Saturday 30th November 2019, 8:30pm – The Rip-Roaring Success
The Rip Roaring Success are the hottest Western Swing Band East of El Paso featuring Wild Miss Lucille on double bass, Miss Jay tearing it up on smokin’ hot fiddle and the token gent, the one and only Rusty on six strings of flamin’ geetar and hillbilly vox. Folk at venues and festivals up and down the country will testify that when you want the prairie set on fire with jumpin’ ho-down tunes then there ain’t no success like a rip roarin’ one.
Tuesday 24th December 2019, 8pm – InKonsoulable
Back by popular demand, Dave Cannon and Kieran Gilchrist ring in Christmas 2019 with a classic festive set. Inspired by musicians such as Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, this duo really are the best of classic and modern soul. Don’t forget it’s free entry, booking a table is highly recommended for this one!
